Expect a spirit-driven character with notes reminiscent of a dry Chenin Blanc, peach blossom, waxy citrus peels, chamomile tea and toffee.
70cl / 56.6% / Douglas Laing – This single cask Jura was filled in 1997 and spent 25 years ageing before being bottled for Douglas Laing’s Xtra Old Particular range. Aromas of sultana, walnut and nutmeg fill the nose, complemented by notes of honey-soaked baking spices, stewed fruit and anise on the palate.
70cl / 54.4% / Signatory – The first-fill oloroso butt brings plenty of sherry character without smothering Jura’s coastal malt. This malt is slightly herbal and savoury, backed up by notes of burnt raisins, sea spray and toasted pine nuts, complemented by baked apples.

5cl / 42% / Distillery Bottling – This is a Perfect Measure sample of Jura Seven Wood, matured first in bourbon barrels and then finished in Vosges, Jupilles, Les Bertranges, Allier, Tronçais, and Limousin casks. The result is spicy but run through with milk chocolate, orchard fruit and caramel.
70cl / 51% / Distillery Bottling – The 2017 release of Jura Tastival was aged initially in bourbon casks before being split into two. Half was finished in first-fill bourbon barrels and the rest in port pipes from Graham’s. Rich and complex with notes of orange, pineapple, cassis and walnut.
