This particular dram is all the more precious for having come from a distillery closed in 1983 and now sadly demolished.

75cl / 50% – A great example of wheated bourbon, this six-year-old expression from Bardstown is round and balanced with notes of stone fruit, cocoa and toffee. As with all entries in the Bardstown Origin Series, this whiskey was distilled, matured and bottled in bond on site.

75cl / 55% – This collaborative release comprises a blend of straight bourbon with rye whiskey finished in Indian single malt casks from Amrut distillery in Bangalore. Notes of cherry, vanilla and brown sugar are tempered by a herbal edge and hints of dried ginger and cinnamon.
