A specially selected whiskey bottled just for The Whisky Exchange. When we tried a sample of this rare amburana-matured whiskey, we immediately asked WhistlePig if we could have some as an exclusive, and after much begging, they said yes. This 12-year-old Indiana-distilled rye whiskey was finished by WhistlePig in a cask made from South American amburana wood. It’s very rarely seen in whisky-making, more commonly being used to age cachaça, and it adds a unique, fragrant character to the whiskey.
