70cl / 56.1% – A world-first for Irish whiskey, pairing Midleton’s single pot still whiskey with sweet chestnut casks sustainably sourced from trees on the County Waterford’s Cappoquin Estate. Matured between 12 and 19 years in American oak and then transferred to sweet chestnut hogsheads for a further 4 years, the whiskey has decadent honey, apple, chocolate fudge and woodland spices met by vanilla and a mild prickle of chilli oil, before a lasting finish.
