Description
70cl / 57.85% – This annual limited-release from Makers Mark marries a 12-year-old and an 11-year-old bourbon. Casks are partly aged in cool limestone cellars, which allows them to develop depth and complexity without absorbing a bitter character from the oak. Aromas of dark stone fruit, vanilla and caramelised sugar fill the nose and are mirrored on the palate. There is a long and velvety texture on the finish with a well-incorporated baking spice character.
