70cl / 47.2% / Distillery Bottling – Lindores Abbey takes its name from the site of the first recorded distillation in Scotland, which helpfully sits over the road from the distillery. This release is matured in a combination of Oloroso, Pedro Ximénez, Amontillado and Palo Cortado casks for a refined, full-bodied and complex single malt. Sweet treacle, vanilla cream, apples, cinnamon and raisins on the nose. The palate has sticky dark fruit, milk chocolate, toffee and pecans, with a velvety texture. Finishes long with creamy notes
