70cl / 48.4% / Douglas Laing – From Douglas Laing’s Old Particular range, this is a single cask 11-year-old Glen Scotia taken from an ex-bourbon barrel. Vanilla toffee, apple, peach and Campbeltown’s sea air on the nose, which continue onto the palate to join allspice and dried fruit. The finish draws out the touch of smoke, fading alongside vanilla, barley and orchard fruit.
