75cl / 40% – A marvellous old bottle of Dewar’s Ancestor from the 1950s, sealed with a collector-friendly springcap. Ancestor was one of the deluxe blends in Dewar’s range, containing a fair proportion of long-aged whisky, so this should be superb.
