70cl / 49% / Compass Box – This release from Compass Box draws on inspiration from the Decadent movement, an artistic and literary school of thought in 18th century France which idealised abundance and pleasure. Designed as an after-dinner dram, this blend is built around whisky from Balmenach distillery matured in a combination of casks, including Maderia, Sauternes and Marsala. There are rich notes of orchard fruit, liquorice, banana, toffee and juicy apricots on the palate.
