75cl / 50.29% / Distillery Bottling – The Gray Label edition comprises bourbons of different ages, originating from five distinct mash bills. The whiskies are then married and transferred into casks made of 36-month-old air-dried staves. The air-drying process is slow, costly and labour intensive but – according to Barrell – results in more complex flavours. On the palate there are notes of melon, milk chocolate and beeswax, with sweet tea, rose jelly and cappuccino on the finish.
