70cl / 50% / Distillery Bottling – The second entry in the excellent Arran Barley series, from the island distillery’s Lochranza home. Created to celebrate the different varieties of heritage barley still used on the island, this is a 10-year-old made with Concerto and aged entirely in first-fill bourbon casks, to allow the variety’s notes to sing. Herbal and gently spicy, with notes of pillowy vanilla cream and ginger biscuit, with a delightfully oily texture this time around.
