70cl / 52.9% / Signatory – A very rare 1968 vintage whisky from Bruichladdich distillery. Matured for 30 years and released for the 10th anniversary of Signatory independent bottlers. Presented in a black case, complete with two glass tumblers.

70cl / 40.7% / Distillery Bottling – One of the most successful of the famous ‘Legacy’ series from Bruichladdich, this was a small batch of 100% bourbon hogsheads. A classic old ‘Laddie.

70cl / 40.1% / Distillery Bottling – A 1970 vintage Bruichladdich released in 2006 to commemorate the 125th anniversary of the distillery. Aged for 35 years in American oak and then finished for a short time in Pinot Gris casks from the legendary Domaine Zind Humbrecht.

70cl / 44.2% / Distillery Bottling – A 2002 distillery bottling of 1970 Bruichladdich matured for about 31 years. 70cl / 50.4% / Distillery Bottling – A follow up to the ‘Blacker Still’, which sold out so quickly it barely made it as far as the shelves. This time we have a 22 year-old matured in ex-Bourbon casks before finishing (sorry, that should be ‘enhancement’) in Chateau Lafleur Pomerol Bordeaux casks. Blinking not advisable…

70cl / 51% / Distillery Bottling – This is the final release in the ‘Still’ series, a trio celebrating the colours and casks of Bruichladdich whisky. Golder Still was aged in ‘dumpy’ bourbon hogsheads, a cask style experimented with by US cooperages in the 1980s.

70cl / 46% / Distillery Bottling – An old release of 1984 vintage Bruichladdich. The 1984 has risen in popularity after the success of the Bruchladdich “Redder Still”.

70cl / 46% / Distillery Bottling – A special 14-year-old whisky from Bruichladdich. This was released in the mid-2000s to commemorate the discovery of a yellow submarine off the cost of Islay. This was finished in Rioja-wine casks.

70cl / 45.4% / Hunter Laing – This 29-year-old Bruichladdich was independently bottled by Hunter Laing as part of its Kinship range to commemorate Feis Ile 2021. It is reminiscent of honey nut cereal, with aromas of malted barley and salted caramel on the nose, alongside notes of stewed fruit and sea salt spray on…
