70cl / 48% / Ian Macleod – An ‘explosive’ limited-edition whisky from Smokehead, adding in a punch of sherry character to the anonymous peaty dram. It’s matured in Oloroso sherry casks, fusing the big smoke with equally big sweetness and dried fruit notes.

50cl / 58.1% / Scotch Malt Whisky Society – The first bottling from the Scotch Malt Whisky from distiler 114 (aka Longrow), distilled in 1990 and released in 1999 ready for the millennial celebrations.

70cl / 53.8% / Scotch Malt Whisky Society – This is a 1967 vintage Glen Garioch from The Scotch Malt Whisky Society. This was distilled just a year before the distillery was decommissioned for five years. It then closed and reopened again (1995 to 1997) before this was bottled.
70cl / 57.1% / SMWS – A 23 year old Inverleven bottled in the early Noughties by the Scotch Malt Whisky Society. The tasting nickname for this one was ‘Soor plums and pink grapefruit’.
