70cl / 40% / Distillery Bottling – Gentle on the palate, but packed with character, this is a great example of Speyside whisky with notes of dried figs, hazelnut praline, marmalade and tea leaves. Hints of cigar boxes and fruit cake let us know this bottling is partly matured in good-quality oloroso casks, while a pleasant sense of weight points to old-fashioned direct-fire distillation.
