70cl / 55.4% / Elixir Distillers – This Clynelish single malt from Elixir Distillers’ Single Malts of Scotland range is a combination of a single hogshead and a single sherry butt, both matured for 22 years. Aromas of apple juice, engine oil, pine needles, pear compote and sponge cake fill the nose, complemented by notes of gooseberries, custard tarts, smoked paprika and oaky spice throughout the palate.
